We experienced a case of Pierre Robin syndrome in newborn consisted of micrognathia, cleft palate and glossoptosis. It may accompany with cardiac malformations and ocular anormalies, which were not found in this baby. Brief review of literature was made.

Thonatophoric dwarfism is a severe form of micromelic dwardism which is in variably
fatal in the neonatal period.
We reported one case of thanatophoric dwarfism with review of literature.
The diagnosis was confirmed by clinical features, radiological and histological find ings.

Various compounds activate the oxidation of hemoglobin. These include nitrites, sulfonamides,
aniline derivatives, chlorates, quinones, acetanilid and phenacetin. The striking offender
has been DDS in infancy and childhood who live in Kangwon Do, Korea.
The common untoward effects of DDS are hemolytic anemia and methemoglobinemia.

We have experienced two cases of congenital pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular
septum in brothers at the Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, Yonsei University.
One of the two cases, 4 months old, was associated with patent ductus arteriosus and atrial
